Students started class with a journal prompt, and then we talked about irony, using “Souvenir” one last time. Students then accessed the online textbook again, this time reading “The Censors” and practiced using the electronic annotation tools to annotate for small/medium/large questions, plot/character/theme clues, and irony. Homework: if you were unable to finish this story in class, make time to log on from home or at school before Friday.
