Thursday, 9/17

Picking up where we left off Tuesday, we reviewed the first few pages of “Souvenir” before students continued reading and annotating quietly on their own. I circulated and gave informal feedback to everyone on his or her annotations before handing out another character interactions handout, which students worked on after completing the story. We discussed the story using our annotations in preparation for finishing the handout and outlining a power paragraph next week. Homework: finish all reading/annotations and the handout for class on Monday.
